Looking for work in your local area
If you are looking for a job as a personal Assistant (PA), then it is very important that you understand how to offer yourself in the best way to a potential employer. This is done by writing a 'CV' (curriculum vitae) or as the Romans say, 'life story'!
A CV is quite simply an 'advert' to sell yourself to an employer. You should send a CV to an employer when they make contact with you via pasearch
So the purpose of your CV is to make you attractive, interesting, worth considering to the person considering you as someone they may want to employ as a PA.
The more consideration you give to the CV the more likely that you will be offered a job interview. Remember pasearch is seeking on behalf of its member PA’s throughout the United Kingdom.

Hiring a personal assistant poses a series of challenges for clients and PAs.
Why become
self-employed?
There is a lot of encouragement from the government for people to become self-employed and this is very attractive, especially if you have recently become unemployed or redundant.
One of the main attractions of becoming self-employed is you no longer have to work for somebody else. Work can be undertaken around other commitments for example family life.
Pay role companies can help with tax and salary issues however often this will be done on a PA’s behalf by an employer.
